Mia is a multi-sport athlete and a hardworking student. It's her first year as a staff member of the HB Tide. Mia is one of the Class Representatives for her Sophomore Class of 2023. Mia is the youngest out of 3 of her siblings. Mia is bilingual but spoke English first then later on learned how to speak a little bit of Spanish. Mia’s parents are Costa Rican and Guatemalan. She has visited Costa Rica, but not Guatemala. On the days Mia has nothing to do, she watches tv shows and movies on Netflix or Hulu. Mia’s favorite artists are Tyler, the Creator, J. Cole, Clairo, and Arctic Monkeys. She would also like to go backpacking across Europe when she’s older.
